1st Ever International Curling Tournament "Tallinn"
The place, where tournament will be held is the former Soviet Union missile factory which houses one curling rink of 5 sheets, one ice hockey rink and one rink dedicated for public skaters.

We started curling in Estonia few years ago, but the real “boom” started when we built two dedicated sheets only for curling (thanks to large part of WCF help of course) in November 2004. Now approximately over 4 000 Estonians have
tried this new sport. Last season we had championships in 3 categories (9 men, 4 women and 8 mix teams took part of Estonian championships).

All this is due to the hard work of a local curling players and the many like you who come to help support. Thank you and see you in Tallinn!

System of Play

20 teams will be divided into 2 groups and will play 2 group games by Schenkel system. After 2 group games all teams will be re-divided to three final groups, according to rank (criteria: points, ends, stones). All games will be played according to WCF rules. Each game has time limit of 1.50. Tournament starts on Friday 9.00 am, finishes on Saturday around 7.00 pm. Saturday evening is prize giving, speeches and then party all night! We will have a banquet at around 9.00
pm.
